Timothy Noah

Timothy Noah is a senior staff reporter at Remapping Debate and an MSNBC contributor. He is the author of “The Great Divergence: America’s Growing Inequality Crisis and What We Can Do About It” (Bloomsbury, 2012).

Previously, Noah was a senior editor at the New Republic, where he wrote the “TRB From Washington” column.

For a decade, he was a senior writer at Slate magazine. Before that, he was an assistant managing editor at US News & World Report, a reporter in the Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau, a congressional correspondent for Newsweek, and an editor at the Washington Monthly, where he remains a contributing editor.

Noah resides in Washington, D.C. with his two teenage children.
