What should we cover next?

October 26, 2010 — Remapping Debate is eager to get advice from our readers on what domestic public policy stories need to be told.

Have you noticed angles that aren’t getting explored because alternatives are either not imagined, or else casually dismissed as “unrealistic”?

Do you see perspectives worthy of serious attention that are ignored in the face of assumptions that one policy path is necessary or inevitable?

Are there areas where mainstream and alternative sources need to be brought into conversation with one another?

Are there probing, follow-up questions that you believe would have been asked if the reporter hadn’t subordinated the quest to get the story to the concern, “What if asking tough questions means that I won’t get called back next time?”

Tell us about them.  Please use the web form to the right.
