January 18, 2011 — Remapping Debate has teamed up with the Center for Responsive Politics to track the jobs being taken by members of the 111th Congress who either retired, did not run, lost in a primary election, or lost in the general election. The sortable table below sets out the information we have aggregated. As of May 5, 2011, it includes employment data on 83 ex-Members.

There are still some ex-Members for whom we need information. Please send us your tips.

MORE TRACKING (reflecting updates through May 26, 2011): Remapping Debate is also tracking the new employers and positions of the former Chiefs-of-Staff and Legislative Directors for the ex-Members of the last Congress. To see where senior staff members are headed, click here.  Finally, we are tracking former lobbyists who now hold senior Congressional jobs for either individual Members or for Congressional committees.
