May 3, 2011 — Anothropologist Roger Rouse, an associate teaching professor in the history department at Carnegie Mellon University, discusses the popular Disney film series, “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Rouse was interviewed shortly after a public lecture he delivered which sought to answer the question, “How do major media corporations use images of piracy as they work to shape the ways we engage the world?”
